How to service and repair the rear power window motor and window regulator on 2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Before fixing the rear window glass regulator and motor the service technician needs to remove the rear trim panels of Regular and Crew Cab vehicles. The service on rear corner trim panels needs to precede child safety seat tether anchor removal on SuperCab vehicles. The power sliding window cable retainer clips need to be disconnected. Look at the left side image while the right side operation is equivalent. First strip the left cable swag from the power sliding window before moving to the left transition block from the sliding window trough and the left transition block from the cable end. Follow the same procedure to extract the left cable end from the sliding window trough and then perform the steps again for the right side. The process of power sliding window motor removal begins by detaching electrical connectors and the bolts which secure both components. Begin the installation by inserting the left cable end into both the sliding window trough and its corresponding position on the cable end. Complete assembly with installation of the left transition block into the cable end and back window trough. The same process needs to be followed for the left cable swag as it gets installed into the rear sliding window before doing the same for the right side. Regular and Crew Cab vehicles should get their rear trim panel installed whereas SuperCab vehicles require their rear corner trim panels to be fitted.
