First detach the upper intake manifold before you take off the fuel tube redundant clip to free the fuel tube by pressing the quick release coupling button at the fuel rail. The procedure requires removal of the fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor electrical connection and vacuum tube together with the fuel charging wiring harness electrical connector. Clean all surfaces on the lower intake manifold before installing it by replacing any necessary gaskets.
