How to service and repair the wheel spindle on 2005 Ford Focus?

To maintenance the wheel spindle, unlock the parking brake, take the wheel and the tire off, and disconnect the wheel speed sensor (where fitted). fit up any broken dust caps, and then remove carefully the hub retaining nut and brake drum. Wipe all mating surfaces and then replace the spindle, hub nut and components.
