How to remove the Center Console Base on 2005 Ford Mustang?

When removing the floor console you need to start by taking off the shift lever bezel if it exists. To start remove the floor console finish panel using its two screws followed by applying the parking brake and taking out the finish panel. Detach both center stack wings before taking out the two screws that anchor the front floor console. You need to extract the mat and both console floor nuts before taking off the floor console. Unplug the electrical connector before starting. Begin the reinstallation process by performing removal actions in the opposite order.
