How to remove and replace the Front Cross-Member on 2005 Ford Mustang?

The vehicle must be in NEUTRAL gear with its location on a hoist before beginning front crossmember removal and installation. Separate the brake line clips from the two positions on the front crossmember before unfastening the A/C line bracket nut and taking the A/C line bracket off the front crossmember with a torque of 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Using a suitable tool you should support the radiator after releasing the power steering line locator from the crossmember. Tighten front stabilizer bar bracket nuts to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft) when reinstalling them after removal of the four nuts. The following stage requires two technicians to accomplish the work of removing four nuts and the front crossmember before tightening all components to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft). After completing installation the process can be reversed to finish the procedure.
