The service procedure for the blower motor starts with cutting the connector loose from the speed control servo before unscrewing the mounting screw for speed control servo adjustment. The technician must first disconnect the wire harness connector before taking out the blower motor housing tube. You should first remove the screws which hold the blower motor and then extract the blower motor from its position. The blower motor wheel along with its retaining clip need removal from the blower motor assembly. When replacing the new components follow the opposite steps of the removal process.
