How to service and repair the oil pan on 2005 Ford Ranger?

In order to fix the oil pan, take out the engine and the oil level indicator assembly. Removal of the bolts on the oil pan, wiping of the surfaces using a plastic tool and sealant application. The pan will take less than four minutes to install, lubricate the O-ring and reinstall the engine and oil level indicator.
