    A: Service or repair operations on the spindle of four-door automobiles need to start by taking off the hub cap or wheel cover first. Use a measuring tool to determine hub center distance to the fender lip the vehicle rests on level ground to get accurate curb height measurement. Proceed by detaching the wheel hub and bearing while you remove the brake hose bolt then separate the rear brake anti-lock sensor if present through its bolt removal. The brake hose requires support from mechanic's wire to stop it from getting damaged. You need to throw away all screws together with nuts and flag bolts before removing the spindle's nut and washer and bushing and pinch bolt. In case assistance is needed use a large screwdriver during this step. You must first place the new wheel spindle correctly before installing a new pinch bolt that will stay untightened for now. Place the curved side of the washer facing the opposite direction from the bushing before you place the tension strut into position while mounting the components with the bushing and washer and new nut but avoid tightening the fasteners. Then install new flag bolts accompanied by washers and nuts while keeping the nuts loose.
