The degas bottle bolt must be removed by first tightening it to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) before reinstalling it. The service requires disconnecting the lower hose at the radiator attachment point on the degas bottle before extracting both the bottle and hose. Follow this step with the removal of cooling fan shroud bolts before reinstalling them with a torque of 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
