To service starter motor, put the car in neutral in a hoist. Un-link battery ground cable, starter solenoid cover and disconnect battery cable (13 Nm) and solenoid wire (6 Nm). Take out starter motor bolts (25 Nm) and repeat the process in reversing order with protective caps in place.
