Reach the rear antenna cable connection by pulling down the headliner and cut the rear lead-in cable detachment from the antenna cable. Disconnect the bolt that attaches the rear lead-in cable. The antenna functions as part of the wiring harness so it cannot be changed independently but you should cut off the old antenna wire ends and cover the remaining cable section with tape for noise prevention during the antenna cable removal process. The new cable needs to be taped down or attached with wire ties to the wiring harness for noise reduction. The installation process ends with a reverse procedure to the removal process.
