Take out the brake pedal bracket retaining bolt to make way for disconnecting the adjustable brake pedal drive cable from the brake pedal assembly. Remove the stoplight switch harness from the pedal bracket after detaching its connection point then remove the pinch bolt to disconnect the lower steering column shaft from the steering column lower yoke before discarding the bolt.
