Follow this step by disassembling the compressor suction fitting along with the removal of its nut after disconnecting the fitting. Toss out both the O-ring seal and gasket seal but ensure proper 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) torque when reinstalling. Move forward to uninstall the suction accumulator-to-compressor line. The installment procedure follows backward from dissassembly steps while using new O-ring seals and gasket seal and applying the correct amount of clean PAG oil to the refrigerant system. The last step includes evacuation of the refrigerant system later followed by testing and charging the system. The replacement of a suction accumulator needs to occur only when contamination appears from a defective compressor or when damage affects the accumulator.
