How to Service and Repair the Motor and Transmission Mount on 2006 Ford F-150?

Vehicle positioning on a hoist in neutral setting is necessary before starting transmission mount service or repair work. A transmission jack with appropriate size should replace rear transmission support nuts before installation. Raise the rear section of transmission a little then remove its bolts to detach the rear transmission mount. Insert the rear transmission mount then fasten it with bolts which should be tightened up to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.). Set the transmission onto the crossmember before reinstalling its nuts and torque them to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).
