How to service and repair the front cross-member and transmission support crossmember on 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Serviceable access to the front cross-member along with the transmission support crossmember starts with hoisting the vehicle into neutral position and using an appropriate high-lift transmission jack. Start by removing the wire harness from the rear crossmember along with eliminating the rear transmission mount nuts. Move on to remove the bolts and nuts from the LH crossmember yet maintain tension on the specified bolt and nut. Next vacant the bolt and nut from the RH crossmember bracket then detach the bracket itself. Work to first remove both RH crossmember bolts and nuts then afterward disassemble the LH crossmember bolt and nut before taking out the crossmember itself. Place the crossmember at the transmission mount after which install the nut loosely. On the LH side of the crossmember install bolts at 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.), move to the RH side to install bolts at 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.) also. Install the bracket before loosely bolting its fasteners while tightening the RH crossmember bolts to 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.) with rear insulator nuts receiving 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.). Near the completion stage install the wire harness to the rear part of the crossmember.
