The procedure for brake caliper cable removal begins with pulling back the parking brake lever and disconnecting the cable from the lever and ultimately removing the cable conduit retaining clip followed by detaching the cable from the brake caliper. Positioning the brake caliper away from the hose will avoid damaging it. Smoothly place anchor plate and brake caliper assembly to the side supported by mechanic's wire after removing their two anchoring bolts. The installation procedure requires anchor plate bolt torque to be set at 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.). First remove the brake disc then take away the retaining clip if such equipment exists. The installation ends with following the opposite steps used during removal.
