How to service and repair the ignition switch on 2006 Ford Freestar?

Depower the SRS, take off steering column cover and disassemble electrical connector to fix the ignition switch. Disassemble the two bolts, fit in the new switch and loosen the bolts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs. ). Installation can be reversed by following the procedure of removal.
