How to service and repair the steering wheel on 2006 Ford Freestar?

To service steering wheel, depower SRS, access cover and disconnect electrical connectors. Take out the steering wheel bolt gear drive and tighten this to 18 Nm on installing. Undo the steps of removal and replace steering wheel and re-power SRS.
