To maintain the windshield washer reservoir, lift the car in neutral, fender splash shield and disconnect pump. Pump out the reservoir, break free the hose, and take out the filler neck bolt, then tighten to 7 Nm when reattached. Have reservoir filled prior to using the washer pumps in order to avoid pump failure.
