How to service the windshield washer reservoir on 2007 Ford Fusion?

In order to service the windshield washer reservoir, lift the vehicle in neutral, take out the RH front fender splash shield as well as disconnect the electrical connector of the pump. Empty the reservoir, disconnect the pump hose and remove the reservoir, tightening the bolts to 7 Nm in the process of reinstallation. After that fill the reservoir with washer fluid.
