2006 Ford Ranger Blend Door Actuator Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to Address Issues with the Blend Door Actuator in a 2006 Ford Ranger?
A: Start the service of the temperature blend door actuator by taking off the passenger air bag module and the defroster opening grill. Position the right-hand demister hose to the side after detachment. All cars with anti-theft or keyless entry systems must have the screws detached to set the anti-theft/keyless entry module to the side. Open the space near the right-hand defroster nozzle before clearing the screw from the area. First disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature blend door actuator then untighten the screws which secure the actuator. The final installation process should include the opposite steps used in the removal procedure.
