Service of the temperature blend door actuator requires a step-by-step removal of the passenger air bag module together with the defroster opening grill. Remove the screws and disconnect the vacuum hose.

Remove the instrument panel by following the appropriate procedures for the body and frame, focusing on the interior moulding and trim associated with the dashboard and instrument panel.

Reverse the removal procedure.

Detach and set aside the electrical connector, followed by the RH demister hose.

The lower steering column opening finish panel by taking out the screws and detaching the hood release handle.

Rotate the vacuum control motor until it clears the retaining arm, then remove the motor.

Remove the lower steering column cover by taking out the screws and detaching the hood release handle, followed by removing two additional screws.

Begin by disconnecting the battery ground cable.

Rotate the vacuum control motor to disengage the lever and remove it, taking care not to bend the lever as it is brittle and will break.

Take out two additional screws.

The electrical connector and the RH demister hose.

Remove the screws securing the instrument panel support brace.

Reverse the removal procedure to complete the process.

Remove the right-hand quarter trim panel.

Begin by removing the passenger air bag module and the defroster opening grille.

Begin by removing the screws and disconnecting the vacuum hose.

Take out the air distribution blend door actuator.

Ensure not to bend any part of the lever, as it is brittle and will break.
