Service of the brake rotor/disc requires disc brake retainers along with brake caliper anchor plates to be removed before disposal. Gently strike the brake disc between the wheel bolts while using a plastic hammer after applying silicone brake caliper grease and dielectric compound to the hub assembly contact area. A 2-3 jaw puller 205-DO27 (D80L-1013-A) along with its equivalent tool must be used to remove the brake disc when other methods are unsuccessful. Perform runout testing on the disc after requiring strong pulling forces during its extraction operation. Before reinstalling the brake disc apply nickel alloy anti-seize to its pilot diameter then proceed with the installation steps in reverse order.
