The replacement of auxiliary A/C features requires removing the fitting nut from the auxiliary evaporator outlet line followed by fitting disconnect along with O-ring discard and installation tightening to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Next you should disconnect the compressor manifold and tube assembly discharge fitting nut while discarding the O-ring seal, tight with new fitting to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Remove the compressor manifold by opening its bolt while discarding O-ring seals and reinstall it with 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) torque. Reinstall using newly installed O-ring seals while performing a proper PAG oil lubrication of the refrigerant system with precise oil volume. The last step involves evacuating followed by both leak tests and refrigerant system charging.
