The service begins by disconnecting the inboard and outboard slide bracket-to-cushion frame nuts before carefully removing the slide brackets from both sides of the seat cushion. Reinstallation requires tightening these brackets to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). Begin the procedure by removing the two riser-to-cushion frame bolts followed by the riser installation step where the bolts should be tightened to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft). Removing the cushion trim cover requires J-clips to be carefully detached from their position before the cushion frame can be extracted. Tear the strip from the cushion foam pad during separation between the cushion trim cover and hook and loop strip. After removing the cushion trim cover from the cushion foam pad replace all parts by performing the reverse process of disassembly.
