    A: Maintenance of the front sway bar link requires workers to disable air suspension power before performing repairs to prevent automatic air spring changes that might shift vehicle position during servicing. The switch for the air suspension service must be set to OFF before proceeding. Position the vehicle on a hoist when it is in NEUTRAL gear. The brake hose must remain suspended to prevent damage so remove the bolts until you set the caliper pads and anchor plate assembly next to each other with mechanic's wire support. Secure the assembly parts with torque at 160 Nm (118 ft. lbs.). Next, remove the brake disc. Use a suitable jack stand to lift the suspension arms until the pressure from the sway bar links is eliminated when the system is in the REBOUND position. Access the sway bar link nuts on top by using the hex holding feature to stop the stud rotation before throwing away the nuts and torquing them at 63 Nm (46 ft. lbs.). Follow the same steps for the lower sway bar link nut and bar link then discard the nut before torquing it to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.). The installation process will end by carrying out the reverse steps of the removal process.
