To service the camshaft position (CMP) sensor, begin by removing battery ground cable and connector of the CMP sensor. Unscrew the bolt which connects the sensor and remove it. To install, lubricate the CMP O-ring using clean engine oil, and follow the reverse procedure, and screw the bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) tight.
