Starting the operation to take out and replace the rear 40 percent seat requires first removing the 40 percent seat. When heat functions are installed start by detaching the backrest heater mat electrical connector and disconnecting the two heated seat electrical connectors from the backrest assembly. Work on the outboard cushion frame pivot bracket cover by using the tab connector to detach it followed by exposing the inboard cushion frame pivot bracket cover through the same method. Proceed by taking off the two bracket bolts that maintain the cushion assembly together with the two frame pivot brackets. Perform the installation by tightening the bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) and follow the reverse order of removal steps.
