How to Service the Mirror Actuator on 2007 Ford Freestyle?

In order to service the power mirror motor, the exterior rear view mirror glass can be removed and the four securing screws can be loosened, though not removed. Unplug the electric connector and take out the motor. Installation is the same, but in reverse with tight application of screws (1 Nm 9 lb-in).
