How to service the trailing arm on 2007 Ford Freestyle?

In order to maintain the trailing arm, check the distance between the hub and the fender, dismount the wheel and hold the vehicle. Install a shock and spring assembly, and substitute the trailing arm-to-knuckle and trailing arm-to-subframe bolts with new ones, which need to be tightened to 110 Nm. Lift up the rear suspension to the original measurement and reverse the process of removal.
