How to service the Center Console Base on 2007 Ford Taurus?

Start the floor console servicing process by removing the compact disc (CD) changer only when it comes with your model. Begin by removing the floor console storage bin together with its mat while unscrewing the four console bolts before installing them back with a torque of 10 Nm (89 lb-in). Open the finish panel covers then remove the floor console finish panel by taking out its two bolts while installation requires bolting to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). To complete the installation replace the floor console according to the reverse steps you have just performed.
