How to service the blower motor resistor on 2007 Lincoln Mark LT?

To install a new blower motor resistor, you have to reach it under the right side of the instrument panel. Disconnect the electrical connector in the resistor and take off the two screws that hold the connector. When the resistor is removed, replace it by attaching the new or repaired unit by doing the reverse procedure.
