    A: Start the lower intake manifold servicing by positioning the vehicle on a hoist in the NEUTRAL gear. Before starting service on the lower intake manifold you must drain the cooling system and remove the fuel rail. Remove the three thermostat housing-to-lower intake manifold bolts. Then secure the lower intake manifold with the ten bolts until tight. Toss out the intake manifold together with thermostat housing gaskets followed by total cleaning of all sealing surfaces. Application of newly purchased gaskets requires installation of the lower intake manifold with its ten bolts using the designated sequence at 10 Nm (89 inch lbs). Fit the three thermostat housing-to-lower intake manifold bolts before tightening them to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs). Conclusion of the operation involves reinstallation of the fuel rail followed by complete cooling system fill-up and bleed procedure.
