How to Service and Repair the Vapor Canister on 2007 Lincoln MKZ?

In order to repair the evaporative emission control canister, place the car on neutral on a hoist and disconnect battery ground. Disconnection of vapor tube, fasteners and disconnection of the vent solenoid will remove the evap canister. Install the new canister, tighten to 6 Nm and perform leak test to check functionality.
