How to Service and Repair a Tail Pipe and Muffler with a Fire Suppression System on 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis?

To maintain the muffler and tailpipe, depower the fire suppression system when it is installed. Lift the vehicle in neutral, unscrew the rear suspension parts, and unscrew the isolator. Uninstall the muffler and tailpipe system, fit the new fasteners and work in tighter. Turn back on the fire suppression system, as necessary.
