How to service the front door window regulator and motor on 2007 Mercury Milan?

The front door window regulator and motor can be serviced by removing the door trim panel, wiring harness cover and access plug. When the motor is not running, then lowered the window to reach clamp bolts. Unscrew the different electrical connectors, disassemble the door module, and repeat the steps in reassembling, making sure that MKZ models have correct initialisation.
