How to service the rear door window regulator and motor on Mercury Milan?

Starting the repair process of the rear door window regulator and motor requires technicians to first eliminate the rear door trim panel together with the access hole plugs. The door window regulator motor should be removed when it becomes inoperative. The bolts guiding the glass clamp can be exposed by lowering the window through access holes while ensuring the bolts achieve 6 Nm (53 lb-in) when reinstalling. The window needs tape applied for positioning and the window regulator should be lowered until it stops at the track bottom. Begin by taking out the door speaker along with the interior door handle screw and set the handle properly to the side.
