How to service the seat cover for the second row bucket seat cushion on 2007 Mercury Monterey?

Start service of the second row bucket seat cushion cover by taking out both second row bucket seat and the second row bucket seat backrest. Before you continue disconnect the seat riser by unscrewing its 9 mounting screws. After this remove the 6 seat riser-to-seat track nuts followed by tightening the installation to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). The seat track requires separation from the seat cushion by removing 4 pan bolts which should be tightened to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) when reinstalling. The removal of seat cushion trim cover and foam pad from the seat cushion pan requires gently dislodging J-clips while being mindful to not damage the hook and loop strip from the seat cushion foam pad when unfastening both hook and loop straps. The technician will discard all hog rings before unattaching the seat cushion trim cover from the foam pad. The process completion requires performing the removal procedures in reverse order.
