How to service the exterior Mirror Switch on 2008 Ford Crown Victoria?

A shop towel or comparable material should be used initially to prevent front door trim panel deterioration when servicing the exterior mirror control switch. Rise the front part of the window regulator switch plate from the front door trim panel then place the switch plate off to the side. The two locking tabs should be released to take out the exterior mirror control switch together with the electrical connector detachment. The new switch installation requires following the reverse steps of the removal procedure.
