2008 Ford E-250 Antenna Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the antenna on 2008 Ford E-250?
A: Service or repair of the antenna begins with mast removal from base before subsequent base cap and three screws securing the base. Start by elevating the base and disconnecting the lead-in cable of the antenna before completing base removal. Start by removing the fender splash shield through screw removal of three screws and pushpin detachment. First put the antenna lead-in cable and grommet inside the passenger area before taking off the instrument panel finish panel alongside the cowl side trim panel. Test the antenna lead-in cable between both ends and disconnect both its harness retainer and trough retainers from the wiring harness system. Uninstall first the audio unit and then cut the antenna lead-in cable. The final step of installation requires you to undo all the procedures from the removal phase.
