How to service and repair the windshield washer pump on 2008 Ford Edge?

To maintain the windshield washer pump, take out the RH front fender splash shield and empty the washer tank. Disconnect hoses and electrical connector and take off the pump. Do not use the pump until the reservoir is full or you will have a failure. Installation The new pump is installed by reversing the steps of removal.
