Apply the hex holding feature once more to stop the ball stud from spinning while removing the lower sway bar link nut before fastening it to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft). Examine ball joints and boots inside the sway bar link before you remove the sway bar link to determine if new components are required. The installation process should be reversed through the same removal steps.
