Next, remove the left-hand battery. Start by letting go of the clamp that holds the radiator-to-degas bottle hose while you disconnect it. Just below it you should loosen the clamp and disconnect the EGR cooler-to-degas bottle hose. Only proceed with disconnecting the vacuum hose connector when it applies. Raise the degas bottle by removing the bolts in order to reach its connection with the engine hose. The degas bottle installation requires bolts tightened to a torque of 19 Nm (14 lb-ft). The vehicle operator should remove the spring clip and disconnect the engine-to-degas bottle hose which leads to removing the degas bottle from the vehicle while reinstalling the spring clip properly for reassembly. The installation process finishes by undertaking the exact reverse steps of removal to achieve completion.
