    A: Start the turn signal switch service and repair by first taking off the steering column opening trim together with the tilt lever dust boot. After removing the screw maintaining the tilt lever position the fastener until it reaches 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.) during replacement. First uninstall the electric connector of the multi-function switch before removing the three screws securing the upper and lower steering column shrouds. Tighten the two screws which secure the multi-function switch to 1 Nm (9 inch lbs.) when replacing it. To finish the installation follow the reversal of the removal steps in the correct order.
