How to remove and install the Center Console Base in all on 2008 Ford Focus?

The first step to remove or install the floor console applies to all vehicles with a park brake lever lift followed by NEUTRAL gear selection. The gearshift lever knob needs to be unscrewed on manual transmission vehicles while removing it from the gearshift lever itself. The floor console storage compartment door must be lifted next to detach the park brake lever boot from the park brake lever. The floor console finish panel requires an upward lift on its rear section to let loose the clips while disconnecting electrical connectors if present before sliding the park brake lever boot and finish panel over the lever. Position the front seats ahead and take out the 2 screws located at the rear of the floor console. Reach the 2 middle covers and screws by first moving the front seats to their rear position and then free the 3 pushpin retainers and 2 front screws. The procedure ends by removing the floor console after disconnecting the electrical connector. Installation can start by performing an opposite process to removal.
