How to service and repair the windshield washer reservoir on 2008 Lincoln MKX?

To service the windshield washer reservoir, loosen the splash shield of the right front fender, disconnect the pump and empty the reservoir. Take out filler neck bolt and reservoir nuts and tighten to 7 Nm when re-fitting. Do not run the pump until the reservoir is full, or it may break.
