How to Service and Repair the Exhaust Pipe on a 3.5L Engine on 2008 Lincoln MKZ?

In order to fix the exhaust Y-pipe of a 3.5L engine, new gaskets and fasteners must be used when fixing it and the flange faces need to be cleaned. Take out old nuts and gasket, put in new ones and tighten them to 40 Nm. After installation, seal correctly using 3 stages after which leaks are to be checked.
