The service requires you to separate the door lock cylinder actuating rod from the door lock cylinder actuating pawl so you can take out the E-clip and door lock cylinder actuating pawl. First disconnect the electrical connector then take out the door disarm switch. Reverse the removal steps while installing the switch by placing the door disarm switch mark towards the harness side of the switch and then properly securing it in its position.
