Disconnection of the vacuum hose, brake master cylinder nuts, and positioning of brake master cylinder forward without disconnection of brake tube fittings is necessary to service the vacuum brake booster. Take off the stoplamp and speed control switches, and throw out the booster push rod clevis-locking pin. Install components one at a time and make sure they are adjusted correctly.
