How to Service the Side Marker Light on a Sedan on 2008 Mercury Sable?

A sedan will need to be on a hoist with neutral to service the side marker lamp. Take away 2 pieces of pin type retainers and 3 screws in the fender splash shield, disconnect the electrical connector, and fold the tabs to take off the lamp. Installation reverse the process. The bulb may be opened at the bottom.
